Why Choose a Private School in Cameroon

The first question to ask yourself is why do you want to enroll your child in a private school? The reasons given may be geographic. Indeed, the sectorization implemented by your municipality may not suit you. Thus, the school may turn out to be too far from your home, poorly served by public transport, difficult to access, or of questionable reputation. Another reason is often put forward, that of the child’s educational level.

The latter may encounter difficulties in his learning in public school, often laxer in terms of supervision. Suddenly, choosing a private school can pay off. The child will therefore have access to a better quality education. And this is one of the main differences with the public school. The program will be identical to that of a public school but, in private schools, the choice of teachers is very rigorous. These are very often people with a great deal of experience and specialize in very specific fields.

In addition, supervision is reinforced and everything is done to ensure that the environment is conducive to work, which facilitates concentration.

The big differences public schools

The first is financial. A public school is relatively cheaper than a private school. A private school also instills in the pupils a sense of values. Thus, the behavior and personal values of each are taken into account, analyzed, and then valued as far as possible.

These observations and this work carried out with and on the pupils will very quickly find their usefulness since it will help them more easily to find their place in society. They will very quickly be more comfortable and perform better in everyday life or, later, in higher education and in the world of work. But, although private schools have advantages over public schools, you should know that not all are created equal. To help you in your selection, it is necessary to take into account the reputation of the school, to learn about the values instilled in the child in order to see if they correspond to your needs and your expectations, but also to those of your offspring. There are therefore differences with public schools, but know that each parent is always looking for the best for their child, whether in terms of education or the environment.

Among the advantages of public school is its financial cost. Cheap is not a defect. Many public schools enjoy a flattering reputation and can pride themselves on achieving very good results. Either way, it is quite possible to switch from one to the other. On the other hand, some private schools require an entrance exam to assess the level of the applicant.

It is therefore up to you to scrupulously inform yourself before making your choice and to favor the establishment which will correspond most faithfully to the values that you wish to transmit to your child.
